Bodywork should not be a luxury. I believe everyone should have access to massage and feeling good in their body.

My sliding scale is a community practice to make regular bodywork sessions accessible to marginalized folks who would otherwise would not able to afford these services, especially those who are chronically ill, those who do not come from generational wealth, and the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

Sliding scale is a community practice to create better access to care and prioritizes quality of life for all.​ It is not a discount session. Everyone receives the same high level of care and attention that someone paying full price receives.

Sliding scale is a range around the full price.
Sliding scale is a practice for participation by everyone - folks who are unable to pay full price, AND folks who are able to pay more than full price. That is what makes this practice sustainable.
When you are able to pay more than full price for your massage, you are supporting the whole system so that people who need it are able to receive care at a lower price.

As long as we all participate honestly, I am able to offer sliding scale while keeping my business sustainable and long living. ​

Once you determine what range you are in, use the chart to determine what dollar amount to pay based on your range.

Please also account for how often you would like to receive massage, and what is a sustainable rate for you. If your body responds to more regular massage for preventative care and that means you need to pay less per session to come more often, please do so! I want you to receive the care you need to feel good in life.

To keep my business sustainable and long-living, I can take on 8 monthly sliding scale clients who fall within the Lower/Bottom and Low/ Middle ranges. ​
